Microservices – Breaking down the Monolith by DZone

My insights were used to inform the Dzone guide to Microservices. This guide focuses on crucial pieces of the microservices puzzle, helping readers construct an effective, meaningful application architecture. The guide focuses on the best approaches to reduce overhead during migration; how individual services communicate with each other, including the messaging options and formats; and how teams working with microservices can better communicate with each other.

DevOps TV Interview at IBM InterConnect 17

I was interviewed by DevOps TV during IBM Interconnect, 2017 with Tony Tam, the creator of the Swagger API definition framework. We spoke about the API space, the current development methodology and how Swagger fits in. We also discussed how SmartBear Software caters to the entire API lifecycle, and how we’ve evolved a strong open source community around Swagger and SoapUI.

Integrations with API Design and Management

DZone worked on a report detailing about new trends in the industry pertaining to integrating different systems. Since APIs are the glue of the digital age, I was was one of the executives who provided their inputs on the current state of integrations, the relevant tools and technologies needed to thrive in the hyper-connected era, and predict where the industry is headed.
